D365 Commerce & Azure Integration Architect — 20 Years in Retail ERP
I specialise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce — the architecture, the deep technical layers (CRT, CDX, OData), and the Azure integration patterns that connect retail ERP to the rest of a modern enterprise.
Over twenty years I have delivered D365 Commerce and AX Retail implementations for fashion retailers across Singapore, Dubai, the UK, and India — leading full-cycle projects from solution design through to CRT customisation, channel database architecture, and go-live. I have worked as a Principal Architect, an Advisory Architect, and as an in-house ERP
Product Manager at KrisShop (part of Singapore Airlines), where I owned the D365 product roadmap and drove architecture decisions from the business side.
Currently I am at DysrupIT, building Azure Logic App and Azure Function workflows that synchronise retail catalogue data — products and pricing — across 23 global markets into D365 Commerce, with all credentials managed via Azure Key Vault. The integration patterns I work through daily are what I write about here.
Dynamics Journal is where I document what I learn in practice: architecture decisions, CRT extension patterns, CDX mechanics, Azure integration approaches, and the things the official documentation does not cover. If you have found a post useful or want to discuss a D365 Commerce problem, reach out on LinkedIn or email hi*************@*****ok.com.
Topics I keep writing about:
- Azure Logic Apps and Functions as D365 Commerce integration middleware
- Commerce Runtime (CRT) extension architecture
- Commerce Data Exchange (CDX) — how it actually works
- Multi-market retail ERP design decisions
- OData in D365 F&O and Commerce
